I started with Lafarge as Production Manager Aggregates & Concrete for
Lafarge's company in La Réunion. I was responsible first for the prefabrication process and then for the whole cement supply chain as the Operations Manager for Cement activities in La Reunion.
In September 2005 Cementia offered me the opportunity to take over the position of Aggregates Manager in Romania. This enabled me to take advantage of new experiences both on the professional and personal sides in a very dynamic and promising environment.
I started my career with Cementia Trading AG, Lafarge in 1996 as an Assistant Manager in the Controlling
& Administration department. I could immediately benefit from Lafarge's culture of sharing experiences and best practices. In 2000, appointed Senior Manager of Human Resources, I provided support for the newly created Business Unit Trading & Shipping. Target was to build the new organization and to implement the most effective HR function!
A wonderful learning experience to work with people from other countries and different
cultural background. Since October 2005 I have been expatriated to Jordanian Business Unit of
Lafarge where I have the possibility to gain experience within a cement production unit.
